Hope you are doing well! Here in Oulu we just got quite a bit of snow. Winter is great but we just can't wait for the next June! In this newsletter, we - the AIS25 Organizing Committee - have so much to tell you:

We are happy to announce doctor Bianca Vienni-Baptista as one of our keynote speakers!
She represents the Transdisciplinarity Lab (Department of Environmental Systems Science) from ETH Zürich.

Session Call closed on 1st of November, Abstract Call opens mid-December
|
Thank you for all the conveners who submitted their proposal for the Session Call! Proposals are currently under review. All conveners will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their proposal by mid-December 2024. After notifying the session conveners, all accepted sessions and their descriptions will be published on the conference website.
Abstract Call opens mid-December after accepted session proposals have been published. It is possible to submit an abstract for an open session or submit an independent abstract. See more information on the conference website.

We are happy to tell you that we have published "Side Events" page on our conference website. There you can find information about side events, pre-conference workshops, exhibitions and various other activities happening at AIS25 Conference. More details and new events will be updated as they get confirmed.

Scenes from inter- and transdisciplinary research: A cartoon exhibition on how to make sure that integration fails
|
During the AIS25 Conference, make sure to visit an exhibition capturing some challenging moments for inter- and transdisciplinary integration processes. This exhibition created by the experts from Eawag and ETH Zürich together with a professional cartoonist will be on display at the main venue Linnanmaa campus.
